Explorer is Portugal's leading independent alternatives fund manager. Founded in 2003 by Rodrigo Guimarães and Elizabeth Rothfield, Explorer has been investing successfully for more than 20 years. The firm manages three key investment strategies: buyouts, growth, and hospitality. Explorer is one of very few alternatives fund managers owned and led by a woman.
