Nomera Capital develops Portugal Funds and provides independent research on Portuguese funds, portfolios and managers. We cover all strategies and structures, including Golden Visa-classified funds. We receive no commissions from funds and have no commercial incentive to favour one fund or manager over another.
Connected data
Our proprietary database connects fund and manager profiles with holdings, economic exposures, fees and source documents. Reporting dates and methodology give the figures context.

Golden Visa Funds is Nomera Capital’s consultancy service for the Portuguese Golden Visa. Fund Research & Analysis is provided by Nomera Capital, with Portugal Funds at its core. Golden Visa Legal Advisory is provided independently by Pares Advogados. Each provider operates under its own engagement and terms, with no referral commissions or incentives paid or received between them. You can choose either service or both and keep your existing providers.
We work with any bank and can recommend banking options, without an exclusive banking partnership. You choose your bank, subject to its own onboarding requirements and terms.

Cristóvão Matos is Managing Director at Nomera Capital (nomeracapital.pt), where he leads research on Portuguese investment funds, portfolios and managers across private and public markets.
Background in Physics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, educational background in banking and insurance, a Certificate in Private Equity from Imperial College London, and a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Analysis & Investment from MIT School of Architecture and Planning. Passionate about technology, he explores blockchain and AI applications in finance and digital assets.
Senior Lawyer
André Rei is a Senior Associate at PARES, specializing in Immigration and Nationality law, with extensive experience advising investors on the Portugal Golden Visa program from around the globe.
André holds a Law degree from the University of Coimbra (2015), a Master's in Forensic Legal Sciences (2017), a Postgraduate in M&A and Corporate Litigation (2021), and advanced training in Commercial Contracts and Shareholder Agreements.
